The McDonald Lake Rod and Gun Club offers a wide choice of leisure activities. Come visit us and enjoy the view. We offer Trapshooting both Single and Doubles. Our Virtual Training Simulator is "State of Art". Encompassing realistic situational and handgun actions that can train not only civilians but law enforcement. Finally is the "QuickRange". This live fire handgun facility shoots up to 44 Magnum with safe velocity trapping up to 2000 ft per second. Two lanes of complete climate controlled comfort. Automatic target retrieval, sound suppression Ballistic Rubber Trapping (BRT), fully lighted of near darkness Home Protection situations. We are setting up an outdoor Large Rifle Range. The range offers 25 yard short range for prequalification before mkoving to the 100yard shooting positions. The 100 yard range is camera/computer real time visual bullet placement. Safety is paramount with each lane having a Bullet Bunker. Each Bullet Bunker is 4X4 feet and made of 1/2" Armored (AR) Steel. This serves as our Primary bullet trap. The secondary bunker is 7 feet thick, 36 feet long and 9 feet tall inpenetrable wall of back filled semi truck tires wit sand fill in front.  Our staff is all NRA Certified Instructors. Our Banquet facility offers two rooms depending on your guest requirements. Come see us and see why the McDonald Lake Rod and Gun Club is so exciting. 

The McDonald Lake Rod and Gun Club (MLRGC) was established in 2007 A.D. It overlooks one of the finest views of the Wabash Valley. Sitting on one of the highest spots on the west side of the Wabash River, the MLRGC's outdoor deck  reminds you of the mountain views of Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky or upper Georgia.
